A relative truth is like understanding that a particular wave exists and is different from other waves. They have a beginning and ending.

An absolute truth, however,  would be that waves do not begin or end, since they all come from the same source, the ocean.

As we go about this financial journey, and as we pay more attention to financial principles and information, it is wise to realize that most of the financial world is a relative truth. It comes, it goes, and there is constant change.

But as we ride these waves, maybe we can step back sometimes and appreciate the largess of the ocean and how wonderful it all goes together.

Peace to you.

MoneyGab Zen Moments: where are you going? http://moneygab.com/moneygab-zen-moments/ http://moneygab.com/moneygab-zen-moments/#comments Mon, 29 Jun 2009 05:46:30 +0000 Nathan http://moneygab.com/?p=28 There is a story in Zen circles about a man and a horse.

The horse is galloping quickly, and it appears that the man on the horse is going somewhere important. Another man, standing alongside the road, shouts, “Where are you going?” and the first man replies, “I don’t know! Ask the horse!”

Sometimes our lives feel like this. We are going so fast, but where are we going?

The art of stopping is a powerful concept. We can slow down, stop, and be in control of our thoughts an actions, doing things with purpose and meaning.

Maybe it is time to get off of our horse and look around for awhile.

What would your life look like if you were off the horse?
